[resume] Maria-Anna Zioga Resume - EN
Maria-Anna [Marianna] Zioga is an architect holding an integrated master's degree from the Department of Architecture at the University of Thessaly and is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. During her studies, she cultivated a strong interest in the intersection of digital media, art, and cultural heritage.
Throughout her academic journey, Maria-Anna has focused on exploring innovative approaches to enriching cultural experiences through digital technologies. Her diploma thesis and research thesis have especially allowed her to merge her passion for art with her technical expertise.
Maria-Anna is currently working as a junior architect with Aenaos Techniki S.A. in Larissa, Greece, contributing to the design and construction of private residences. Alongside her architectural role, she is a member of the team organizing the exhibition "Floodmarks: Speculative Ethnography for Postdiluvian Futures", set to take place in Volos in April 2025. Supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation [SNF] and Columbia University, this project combines anthropology and architecture to document and creatively reimagine the environmental aftermath of the September 2023 floods in Volos. Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, she enjoys crocheting and working with clay, creative activities that keep her inspired.
